As part of the activities of the Vietnam International Academic Network (VIAN), the webinar of the VIAN-Information Technology was successfully hosted on September 1, 2022 morning, and facilitated by representatives from 3 universities and experts from the United States: Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Thủy (University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University Hanoi), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Trần Vũ (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Bình (Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, University of Danang) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hằng Đinh (Indiana University, the U.S.)

The webinar was attended by more than 30 experts. Also at this webinar, Assoc. Prof. Hằng Đinh introduced 11 international experts as the new members of the IT VIAN:

Local and international experts had a lively discussion on how to improve and foster the research capacity at universities in Vietnam. At the end of the session, the team also planned several activities to be implemented within a year. This network is expected to bring much value to interested scholars in the information technology field.
