On July 21, 2023, VIAN-Education organized a summer workshop hosted by the University of Education – Vietnam National University, Hanoi with the participation of nearly 40 leaders, lecturers, researchers from Vietnam National University-Hanoi, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Danang.

To kick off the workshop, Dr. To Hong Nam the Deputy Director of Information, Communications and Technology Department, Ministry of Education and Training presented on “Policy of the Education & Training sector on the application of new educational technologies” to provide an overview of technology application in education. After the plenary version, 02 parallel sessions were organized under two themes including 1) Education institutions in disruptive contexts and 2) Emerging issues in Higher education with a total of 16 working papers were presented and discussed. The presentations are all research ideas and scientific works in progress on different topics in the field of education.

The workshop is an opportunity for scholars to discuss, exchange and contribute ideas to the presented working papers so that the authors can improve their research work. Thus, the activity will contribute to the increased number of international publications and enhance research capacity at the three leading universities in Vietnam.
