As part of the action plan agreed upon at the team meeting of the Vietnam-International Academic Network (VIAN)-Information Technology (IT) VIAN on September 1, 2022, the first webinar of the team was held on October 7, 2022, and facilitated by Associate Professor Dr. Hang Dinh (Indiana University).

During the webinar, Professor Murli Nair (Indiana University, South Bend) delivered a presentation on “Making sense of complexities in cancer genomic data using efficient computational tools”. This is a practical topic that provides the audience with significant information on research on cells, genes, and cancer.

The presentation of Professor Murli Nair received positive feedback from participating scientists and the information shared by him was promisingly helpful for the application of technologies in health research in Vietnam.
