To further innovate Vietnam’s higher education system based on the 2012 amendments to the Higher Education Law, the USAID Partnership for Higher Education Reform project is expected to rapidly boost the process, helping modernize and internationalize public universities in Vietnam.
The project is a fruitful result of the cooperation between the US government through the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Vietnamese government, in which Indiana University (USA) is designated as the project implementer. With technical support from seasoned experts in higher education, the project is expected to become a prestigious forum gathering a large community of scientists from the United States, Vietnam and other countries. The forum will focus on discussing university governance issues, improving teaching capacity, promoting research and innovation and strengthening university-industry linkages to create development opportunities for more than 200,000 students in the next 5 years.
The project is honored to be featured on Vietnam Television News. The footage was broadcast on the VTV1 channel on August 6, 2022.
